Moved on up to 5 miles today. Used my new 4.6 mile route and added a couple of out and backs on some dirt roads to get my 5 in. Today the dog and I were "greeted" by a stray along the way, I guess that happens when running out in the country on some dirt roads.
I'm really struggling with fatigue right now. Yesterday and today my legs just felt stiff and tired. I don't know if it's the stairs we did on Thursday, the cold, or the running back to back days. Until this week I had been running every other day, giving myself about 48 hours to recover and now it's only 24. Whatever it is, I hope it works itself out soon. I hate feeling so sluggish. My watch is telling me I'm in good condition and my training effect is only 2-3, so I'm not overreaching at all. I have tomorrow off to get some rest, I hope I'm feeling refreshed for my run on Tuesday!
